Lighting Design

Bradley King is a New York-based international lighting designer for live performance. His award-winning work has been seen on and off Broadway, across the United States and around the world. A passionate developer of new musicals, his past and frequent collaborators include Rachel Chavkin, Saheem Ali, Taibi Magar, Jess Stone, Sammi Cannold, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Jesse Robb, and James Lapine.

On Broadway, his work includes: Lempicka, Water for Elephants (Tony, Drama Desk nominations), How to Dance in Ohio, Fat Ham (Tony nomination), Flying Over Sunset (Tony nomination, Drama Desk award), Hadestown (Tony, Drama Desk award), i (Tony, Drama Desk award).

Recent Off Broadway designs include: Twelfth Night for the grand reopening of the Delacorte Theater, Goddess (PUBLIC Theater), We Live In Cairo (NYTW), Ginger Twinsies (Orpheum), Little Shop of Horrors (West Side), Alice by Heart (MCC), Apologia (Roundabout), and many others.

Bradley is proud parent, Executive Board Trustee of United Scenic Artists Local USA 829, and graduate of New York University’s Graduate School of Design for Stage and Film. He also holds an undergraduate degree from NYU in theater directing.
